How it all began
Jake Adams established the Mina Group in 2012 by launching a small-scale printing operation that developed into the Mina Empire.
It all started back in 2012 when Jake Adams launched a small-scale operation out of his local community centre. The nature of the business was to provide charities and third-sector organisations with affordable printing and promotional items. Jake ran this as a project called Community Printing whilst still at the high school.
In 2014, Community Printing was growing from strength to strength and undertook a re-brand to Creative Print. The aim of the re-brand was to position the business in a more commercial world, appealing to larger businesses and SMEs.
After leaving college in 2016, Jake launched a second division of Creative Print called Monkey Banners – an online banner retailer providing large-format printing services offering nationwide delivery and a reliant turnaround.
Not wanting to lose focus on the original goal to make printing and marketing more affordable to charities across Lancashire. It wasn’t long before another re-brand was on the table.
In 2017, The Mina Group officially launched as an umbrella company for Creative Print, Monkey Banners and Mina Communications – The Mina Group was to become the brands global backbone.
2019 saw Mina Workwear and Embroidery added to the group’s impressive portfolio and the opening of a state-of-the-art production facility in the Liverpool region.
